From autonomy to variety, every practice is in effect a small business, requiring rapid decision-making and operations that are efficient and dynamic. Since each practice serves a slightly different demographic, there is variance in how services are delivered which is unique to the local community.

As transformation happens, more and more services are transferring from acute delivery into the community. This breadth of work means practice roles are expanding, bringing with them diversity of workload, experience, team working and opportunities to take on community specialist roles in Primary Care hubs. West Norfolk has a diverse landscape which means you can take in the great outdoors, coastline walks, delicious local food and drink as well as cultural festivals for all the family. There are stunning nature reserves, Fens waterlands, sandy beaches, the maritime history of King’s Lynn as well as country homes to explore including Sandringham and nearby Holkham Hall.

King’s Lynn was one of the most important sea ports in history. It’s merchants’ houses stretch down to the river by original cobbled streets and has two renowned market places. With the Alive Corn Exchange, King’s Lynn Arts Centre and Majestic Cinema, there’s something for everyone when it comes to evening entertainment. There’s also an extensive pedestrianised shopping centre with accessible parking nearby.
